- i took a risk doing this storyline with you from the beginning. i really have no one to blame but myself since it went down like everyone said it would, so why do i still have to be sad when it's essentially over? you were such a flake, but i loved them a lot.
- being a dick to someone who doesn't deserve it just because i'm too sleepy to pay attention.
- having no inspiration to write anyone except one person.
- how much i am going to miss wireless when i have to go back home monday. less of an rpvent and more of a lifevent, i guess? but an unreliable ethernet cord that gets tangled up in everything drives me up the wall

dear players,
i love you guys. more than life itself, seriously. when i started this game, i wasn't sure it would get any interest at all, but you guys appeared and made the whole modding experience worthwhile. you guys are respectful, cooperative, and creative. you write amazing characters, and you're all very talented. i even rejected one of you and you were totally gracious. you rewrote your app and resubmitted and never dragged any bitchiness into it.
but the fact of the matter is, you're not active. i tried to restart the game, i asked all of you to come back, but activity is a two-way street and i can't advertise for my game when it's lugging all the deadweight of you guys around. i'm tempted to just kick all of you out and start fresh, but that is just the kind of ooc fuckery i don't want to get into. i want to try this again. please, you guys? help me out here?

So that game idea I had? I'm calling it Redeem Us.
Three years ago in 1998, on New Year's Day, Bellatrix Lestrange made a speech to the entire Magical Community. A publicly declared war setting Werewolves against Order Members against Death Eaters was set to take place. After three years the war is still raging, it is one the likes of which no one has seen before. Days grow more and more dangerous as attacks no longer just happen in the nighttime hours. Join us as we try to resolve the war. Whom will align with whom? What must be done to forge these alliances? Who can you truly trust?
There is a little taste of the plot for anyone who may be interested.

Just because you've been super-inspired over the past two days and updating like a crazyperson doesn't mean that enthusiasm is going to last. why is it that we only scene nothing but smut? and when the smut is over so that we can scene something else un-smut related, you pull the brackets and tell me you're sick? or you come down with a headache? oh, and you did not just log off/go stealth on me when my kid tried to strike up a conversation. yep. i see how it is now. thanks, but no thanks. but p.s, watch your back. i forsee a ~qrp in your honor in the not too distant future.

Forgive me if this isn't allowed, but I seem to remember a community on GJ that had a long list of actors/actresses in period films (with photo examples). I'm hoping to do some historical lines soon so I was wondering if anything like that exists here on IJ. I try to use believable faces whenever possible.

uh did you seriously just do adds without telling the game? how are we supposed to know there are new people to add and those aren't just lurkers adding journals (cause ive gotten them a lot in the past) or old people who dont clear out their friends lists when they leave a game (and then they clutter up your friends of lists) if the mods dont go "pst guys we did adds so update those friends lsits!"?

Anyone have any suggestions for a 6th Year/16 year old Melinda Bobbin? I'm not incredibly picky, although I tend to prefer pbs with a good selection of high res images, because I like to pretty up my character journals with graphics. I'd also like someone with a good variety of expressions for iconalbility.
Other than that, I'm not picky. The books don't say much about her appearance, I don't think, so I'm open to just about any look, really.

please tell me that your application isn't going to be as stupid as you sound oocly...
additionally, why does no one take into account creating variety in a game that's intentionally small and calls for some diversity of personality? i hope this rejection isn't taken personally, but i'm really tired of this type of character showing up, and it's not like i haven't made it easy for you to take a look at what we've already asssembled. not every woman can be strong/tough/aloof/whatever or come from a tragic, hardening background.
